2.0 very slow then quits without explanation

ExpanDrive works well until I go into a directory using SFTP/SSH that contains large video files (I'm guessing this is the problem). I get the spinning beach ball cursor, the finder becomes unresponsive for over a minute, and then ExpanDrive quits without an explanation.
