.Mac Syncing of Drives and Initial Import
I'm loving ExpanDrive, but I'm not liking having to manually enter all my drive info across my home computer, my laptop and my office computer. .Mac (soon MobileMe) syncing would be great. Transmit has this and it's indispensable.
Also, the ability to import drives from your existing SFTP client, like Transmit would be very helpful for new users.

Inappropriate? That's a good idea. We'll definitely look into adding support for MobileMe sync. Thanks for the suggestion.

Inappropriate?Any news on this one?
-
Inappropriate? Not much new news, it's slated for the future - but of relatively low priority. What is more interesting - the mobileme sync or the import?
hsl- also, have you tried 1.3.1 yet? Our reconnect etc is much much improved. Hopefully it'll perform better for you than in the past.

Inappropriate?for me the mobileme sync is quite important :-)
reconnect is a bit better, but textmate still keeps crashing on expandrive mounts. -
I'll second that, definitely MobileMe sync would rock. I've gotten used to Transmit syncing my "drives" and I would love if ExpanDrive could do the same. If syncing is possible importing would only be nice the at first install/run time (and offcourse to those without a MobileMe account). -
Inappropriate? We agree that MobileMe sunc would be pretty great. That said, it doesn’t look like a quick project, and we have a lot on our plate right now, so it might be a while before we get to it.
If you only need to sync occasionally, then you could just copy the preferences file from from one computer onto the other. The preferences file is called com.magnetk.ExpanDrive, and it’s located in ~/Library/Preferences.
I’m happy

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate? Why doesn't the preference file sync over MobileMe with preference syncing enabled? Many applications magically sync their settings through MobileMe's preference syncing, while ExpanDrive does not.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?any updates on sync features anyhow? It's been over 8 months now since the intial post here!?

Inappropriate?hi, i think too it's necessary a function to sync or import data. I'm using tranmit and i dont'want to write manually every row in every mac...
It could be nice to have a sync with a service linked with the sotw. like xmarks for favorites...
have a nice day ;)
