Amazon S3, slow to load and while opening folders?
I can connect to S3 and upload problems without a problem, however, it takes sometimes a full minute to bring up the window in Finder once I click connect. Is ExpanDrive fetching a compete list of all files in all my buckets the first time?
I have thousands upon thousands of files in multiple buckets, so I can imagine that this could be the cause of the delay. Sometimes I can expand a folder and it shows the results almost instantly, while other times in can take quite a while. In some cases it just "pinwheels" for a while before displaying the bucket list.

Right now, thousands upon thousands of files is going to take quite a while. We've explored caching certain types of metadata between sessions, but in order to build a real tree that acceptable to the operating system, we need to do an metadata-read operation on each file in order to construct the tree. Once the data is in, we cache it - and you're good to go. However, it'll be a little bit before we further improve how this works. We're sort of waiting to see what users need most from us.
