What version of ExpanDrive are you using, and is this the Macintosh or the Windows product?
If it is the Macintosh version, are you connecting to an FTP server, or SFTP? Are you able to connect to the same server using a file-transfer program such as FileZilla, Transmit, or the command-line ftp/sftp programs?
