Disconnect issues with 1.2
ExpanDrive seems to disconnect from remote host, though the app still thinks it's connected.
I usually keep ExpanDrive permanently connected to my remote machine, and with the 1.2 upgrade, after a while it just stops working. The drive appears to be connected (though the icon defaults back to a normal folder icon) and the directories I've already listed appear - but listing new directories does nothing.
This is a real shame, because ExpanDrive is such a neat tool I've come to rely on it. However, every upgrade since 1.01 has had problems for me (such as this) so I've had to keep reverting back to the old version (which works fine with regard to this problem).

We are tweaking this behavior in the past few minor upgrades to combat people losing transfers of large files because we sometimes were too aggressively process disconnect/reconnect. I'm aware the behavior isn't quite as smooth as it had been, but we're working on it very carefully this week. We'd be happy to provide you with a version to test out some tweaks which should make things better -
Inappropriate?Jeff - I'd be more than happy to provide feedback on a test version. Like I said, this app has become part of my daily work routine, so not being able to upgrade (rolling back each time) has put a bit of a downer on it.

Inappropriate?I'm seeing the same issues here, if I leave a connect idling (say overnight) I have to manually disconnect and reconnect before things work as expected. This is especially problematic if I left a file open and forgot to save .. hitting save will bring you to the spinning beachball of death.

Inappropriate?My connection still hangs at total random points. I use ExpanDrive 1.2.2 with latest TextMate.
Anyhow, the following keeps occuring to me:
ExpanDrive seems to somehow "cache" a file when connection is lost. I can also access this file with vim/TextMate but it only shows half of the file. After eject and reconnect this gets fixed.
If i log into the box with ssh and do cat/vi/whatsoever onto it, the file has all its contents.
Also TextMate seems to have troubles with large Projects which's data is transported via ExpanDrive.
For example i got ExtJS in my project, if i open this project via ExpanDrive, TextMate goes crazy and hangs most of the time.
If i open the Project with the data stored locally it works just perfect :s
I hope this gets fixed quite soon.
