Drive not ejecting
Drives not ejecting properly. Right clicking on desktop icon to eject removes desktop icon, but drive manager still shows it as mounted.

Inappropriate?I don't know if you are referring to Expandrive 2.0, but in any case: I am having exactly this same problem with the updated Expandrive: I eject them in the sidebar of Finder, they dissapear from the Finder window, but Expandrive manager shows them with a green icon, as if they were connected. This problem does not happen with Expandrive 1.3.4.

Yes this is in 2.0 -
Inappropriate? Can you see if Console.app is printing out anything unusual during the eject process? Additionally, can you run "mount | grep fusefs" in the terminal to see what is left mounted. Also, perhaps "ps -A | grep expandrive"
Thanks guys -
Inappropriate?I get this as well, I'm using ExpanDrive 2.01. It usually happens after a failed transfer, I then eject the drive to remount it, it goes away from the Finder, but not from ExpanDrive. First command above returns nothing, the second returns:
15952 ?? 0:07.11 /Applications/ExpanDrive.app/Contents/ExpanDrive/python2.6.1/bin/expandrive -OO Driver.pyo host=x.x.x.x user=username volname=volume opt:local_umask=yes opt:resolve_dir_links=yes port=y authMethods=publickey,password,keyboard-interactive -
td - any way you can make it happen every time? We had another user with this issue recently. Would like to solve it -
Inappropriate?Quitting and restarting ExpanDrive clears up the issue (it now shows as not mounted).
-
Inappropriate?I have the same problem,
The ONLY way I can clear this is to quit and re-start ExpanDrive.

Inappropriate? We’re sorry this keeps happening, and we’re working on a solution. If anyone has a set of steps that can repeatably cause the unmount to fail, that would be a tremendous help to us.
-
Inappropriate?Easy to duplicate.
1) Mount SFTP remote drive with expandrive
2) Drag drive icon on desktop to trash
3) Open ExpanDrive Drive Manager. It will show drive as still mounted. Nothing you do will change that. Even choosing drive in Drive Manager and clicking "eject drive" will not unmount it. The drive is "stuck". -
Inappropriate?anything getting printed in Console.app?
What if you set the remote path to '/'
Thanks for working with us Noah
