ExpanDrive fails to mount remote volume reliably
about 25% of the time, ExpanDrive fails to mount the disk on the desktop, although if I cancel and start connecting again, it will work. Also, when this happens, I get a zombie volume left in /Volumes.

Inappropriate?by the way, I saw this just now in version 1.3, but it was happening earlier as well.
-
Inappropriate? That's odd. Is the connection spotty? Anything getting printed to Console.app?
Also, are you trying to get these to connect at login, or just regularly?
Sorry you're having trouble, masterleep! -
The connection is not spotty. I can always connect with ssh from the terminal.
I am trying to connect using the interface, not at login.
Here are the recent ExpanDrive console events:

Inappropriate? That's really odd. If not too much trouble, could you try deleting the application and re-downloading it from expandrive.com?
Also, what kind of Mac are you running on?
Thanks for working with us on this one! -
It's an Intel MacBook, 1.83GHz, 2GB, OSX 10.5.5. I'll try the reinstall, but the app does work a lot of the time. -
another couple things, I have Parallels installed on the machine. And ExpanDrive is still in the trial period. To uninstall, do I just remove the app from Applications or is there an uninstaller I need to run? -
Problem just happened again - the only message in the Console is:
11/6/08 3:20:54 PM [0x0-0x1c01c].com.magnetk.ExpanDrive[279] /Applications/ExpanDrive.app/Contents/Resources -
Inappropriate?Just removing the application should do the trick!

Inappropriate?Since upgrading to 1.3.0, ExpanDrive is seizing up after awakening from sleep. Connectivity to mounted disks is lost and can only be regained by logging out and back in again. Simply quiting and restarting ExpanDrive is insufficient to get ExpanDrive connections working again.
-
Inappropriate?Flashgo - sorry again about the trouble. Do you have any other programs that are accessing the drives when it is put to sleep? A big TextMate project or something?
Also - what do you mean by "ExpanDrive seizing up." Do you mean Finder, or application, or our GUI?
We're happy you're letting us know about the issue, we'll do everything we can to solve it
