ExpanDrive not working with MacFuse 1.7.1
I am using MacFUSE 1.7 on OSX 10.5.4 and ExpanDrive "mounts" my disk, but I get:
ls: cannot access DriveName: Input/output error
on the command line
and lots of:
ExpanDrive[325] fuse: writing device: Invalid argument
in the console.

Inappropriate?Hi Mark, some of the bindings we use are compiled against an earlier version of MacFUSE, and won’t work with 1.7. We’re releasing an update that supports (and includes) MacFUSE 1.7, and I hope we’re doing it tonight. Sorry about the trouble.

Inappropriate?ExpanDrive 1.2.8 is out now
http://www.magnetk.com/expandrive/Exp...
it includes MacFUSE 1.7 - can you give it a go? -
Is that MacFUSE 1.7.0 or 1.7.1? I'm running Leopard 10.5.4 which, according to my reading of the MacFUSE page, requires 1.7.1
Will 1.2.8 solve some other bugs (or suspected bugs) which have been reported? -
Inappropriate?Hi Mark,
I for one would appreciate hearing your feedback on using 1.2.8. -
Inappropriate?Worked like a charm for me. 1.2.8 worked without a hitch using 10.5.4 and 1.7.1 - I had to cancel the MacFuse install, as I already had it.
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?Mark, ExpanDrive shoudn’t have prompted you to install or upgrade MacFUSE if you already had version 1.7.1 installed. Was that not the case?
-
Inappropriate? It did ask me; I have MacFUSE installed using MacPorts. However, 1.2.9 hasn't asked me again.
