I'm confident that the new expandrive (2.0.1) is consistently damaging my rather large itunes library.
Here's the setup:
Media computer: Mac Mini
* Has external hard drive used solely for itunes connected by firewire 800
* I can consistently open and close itunes on this mac without damaging my library.
Satellite computers: Macbook air and/or imac
* Uses expandrive to map the external hard drive on the media computer.
* The computer can open the library successfully, play media, add content etc.
* When itunes quits it “saves” any changes in the library.
When subsequently opening itunes on ANY computer after closing it on the REMOTE computer the application will recognize the library as damaged.
