Insufficient privileges despite logging in as root
ExpanDrive 1.2.9 is now giving me trouble with "insufficient access privileges" when trying to drag a file for upload. I can login and mount the drive fine. I just get the error when I try to send a file over. Permissions for the remote directory are set to 775. I am logging into the remove drive as root as well so permissions should not be an issue. I had no issue with the previous version.

Inappropriate?Astromac - is it just one directory or all that you have trouble on?
Can you email support@magnetk.com
we'd love to do a screensharing session or something similar to figure out what is wrong - or even better, if a test account is available.... -
Inappropriate?Hey Jeff,
Thanks for the quick response. I seem to have isolated it further. It seems limited to Path Finder. Path Finder prompts me to authenticate when I try to copy data whereas Finder does not. So there is something about the new version of ExpanDrive that Path Finder doesn't like or ExpanDrive doesn't like about Path Finder.
This is not the case for all mounts either. Path Finder only prompts me to authenticate for a hard drive on our server that doesn't have the OS on it (Linux). It just contains video data. FWIW, it is formatted as ext3.
Other behavior I noticed that the password saved in ExpanDrive was somehow erased and I had to enter it again. I haven't been able to reproduce that one.
Also, trying to eject the media via Finder does not always work but it always works through Path Finder.
I’m unsure
