Is it possible to add a 'read only' flag to drives you define?
Sometimes I'd like to connect to a unix server but make absolutely sure I don't modify the filesystem I connect to, allthough I have write access with the account I use. Is is possible to add a switch to drives I can define that the remote share should be mounted as read only?

Inappropriate? That is an interesting suggestion. MacFUSE does support a "read-only" option that we do not currently use, so it is certainly possible to do what you describe. I've recorded your suggestion in our list of feature requests, so we can consider whether to add it to a future release.
Thanks!
I’m pleased

Inappropriate? This is definitely something I would like to see in ExpanDrive. Since it's based on MacFUSE surely it's just a matter of adding a checkbox to the connection manager and sending one extra parameter to MacFUSE?
I’m your worst nightmare

Inappropriate? This is definitely something we’re going to add. It’s more or less just a matter of adding a GUI for advanced features, which we’ve been putting off in the interest of keeping the interface “simple”, but it’s coming soon.
