MacFUSE 2.0 in ExpanDrive?
I notice that MacFUSE 2.0 has been released - I was under the impression that ExpanDrive uses MacFUSE "under the covers". Will ExpanDrive be updated to use the new MacFUSE, and if so, what benefits will that provide?

Inappropriate? You are correct. We’re planning on pushing out a MacFUSE update inside of an ExpanDrive update very soon.
MacFUSE 2.0 has a number of new features and improvements, some of which will benefit ExpanDrive users as soon as they upgrade, and some of which we will build on for future releases. The most important benefit, which users will see right away, is that MacFUSE 2.0 has greatly improved kernel cache management. Under MacFUSE 1 it was possible that if a file was modified remotely (for example, if someone was logged in over ssh) then it was possible that the ExpanDrive version wouldn’t appear to update right away.
If you don’t want to wait for our release, then you can upgrade MacFUSE on your own by downloading it directly from Google. It’s completely painless, and you’ll see the caching improvements as soon as it’s installed.
I’m excited

Thanks, Jon - that's just what I was hoping. I'll hit the ExpanDrive "Check Now" for updates over the next few weeks rather than try to update MacFUSE myself.
