Procedure to update from SftpDrive to ExpanDrive?
I am tempted to install the new ExpanDrive Beta for Windows. However, I am not sure how I should proceed. I currently have SftpDrive installed and I would like to keep my settings. But I don't want to have both installed at the same time. Is it safe to uninstall SftpDrive first, or will the ExpanDrive installer take care of this while keeping my settings intact?

Inappropriate? It looks like the beta is storing its config in HKCU\Software\ExpanDrive, where SFTPDrive stores its information in HKCU\Software\SFTPDrive. After taking about 30 seconds to examine the registry information it does *APPEAR* to be the same. So in theory you could do the following:
1. Open RegEdit and navigate to HKCU\Software\SFTPDrive and export the SFTPDrive key into a file.
2. Open exported file and replace SFTPDrive with ExpanDrive.
3. Import modified REG file.
In theory this should migrate your existing SFTPDrive config to the ExpanDrive beta. Be aware that all the usual registry editing caveats apply. Your milage may vary. If you break your system don't blame me.
Test this on a non-production system first.
I will say that the Export/Import method is what I used to deploy SFTPDrive to my users and it worked flawlessly. -
Inappropriate? This method will work fine - we're hammering out a couple of known bugs in the ExpanDrive beta and then we'll release. The final release will automatically port over your sessions, upgrade your license, and offer to un-install SftpDrive

Inappropriate?Cool. It would also be nice if it would play nice with WinSSHD v5x as well. :)
