SFTP Drive - slow speed for opening/saving
I'm using SFTP Drive to connect to a remote server and open files (using Crimson Editor). Unfortunately, I'm experiencing very slow connection times -- it often takes 15-20 seconds to open a file, 15-20 seconds to save a file, and drilling down through directories on the remote server is equally slow.
Is this standard, or is there a way to speed this up? The remote server is hugely powerful and fast, and so is my connection.
Any thoughts?

Inappropriate?testing SFTPDrive (Release and beta version) it is slower than putty (pscp) copying big files (~600 Mo) . About 3 time slower.

Inappropriate?Yeah -- and the files I'm opening are quite small, most of them less than 3k. Not 3 Megs, 3k. So I'm not sure why it takes so long.
I’m not thrilled

Inappropriate? We just rev'd the beta for ExpanDrive for Windows an hour or two ago

Can you guys take a look at it and report back?
Also, do you happen to be working in environments with DFS deployed? I'll take a look at Crimson editor.
babault - right now we are indeed slower for throughput. -
jeff, i just downloaded the beta. Now it asks me to import an ExpanDrive License File. But I only have an sFTP license file
EDIT -- NEVERMIND. I see that I just click "Evaluate". So far it seems to be working fast! But we'll see, only been 2 minutes.
EDIT2: It still seems too slow. I'm trying to edit files on the server directly using PHPDesigner. There is a few second delay after each key press. :(
