SFTPDrive has problems with long filenames - ExpanDrive doesn't. How to fix?
I often have Adobe Acrobat or MS Office crash when using SFTPDrive with lots of deep, nested directories.
It seems this is a long file name issue or I simply have too many nested subdirectories. The exact same file tree works perfectly with ExpanDrive however.
Any ideas?

Inappropriate?Just how long? Most Windows programs have a path limit of ~260 characters. If you create the same directory structure with the same names on your local disk, can you open the same files without issue?
Alternatively, you could create symlinks on the server to shorten the path. -
