Inappropriate?Wreppy - we're never going to be quite as fast as other FTP clients, but we're trying to make it faster every day.
In order to represent ourselves as a filesystem, we need to do lots of extra operations over the FTP connection that transmit/etc doesn't. Additionally, we can't as easily pipeline the data. -
