What is the difference between this and the finder connect to network function?

For one, we support SFTP and Amazon S3 - Apple Network connect does not. Additionally, I believe the built in FTP is read-only

Inappropriate?The Apple built in FTP is read only, and it pretty much sucks. If it’s good enough for what you need, then that’s great. By all means, use it. But I’m pretty hardcore, and I’ve tried pretty hard to make it work for me, and it never has.
