Where is the S3 Finder plugin?
Hi I cant seem to find the Finder plugin for managing permissions on S3 buckets. Does it exist? Where can it be downloaded - it does not seem to be included in the dmg.

Inappropriate?Peter - it's included in the bundle. ExpanDrive prompts you to install it after you try to connect to S3
-
Ok and no ;) I've mounted several S3 buckets, but I haven't been prompted to install anything. I took a quick look in the ExpanDrive.app bundle, but I didn't know what to look for, so I didn't succeed in installing it manually. Any way to do that? -
Inappropriate? The contextual menu plugin is called
ExpanDriveCMPlugin.bundle, and it lives in ExpanDrive’s Resources folder. It should install itself automatically to~/Library/Contextual Menu Items/.
After the bundle to that directory you need to restart the Finder in order for the CM plugin to show up. You can do this on the command line withkillall Finder, or from “Force Quit...” in the upper left Apple menu.
I’m happy

Hmm. The plugin is already in ~/Library/Contextual Menu Items/, so I guess I've accepted to install it at some point. My bad ;) So far so good. Any idea why I do not have a contextual menu on my S3 buckets? -
Inappropriate?Have you restarted the Finder?
If yes, then are you looking in the “More” submenu that Leopard has relegated CM Plugins to?
If yes, then have you selected a file object on S3? We currently don’t have any contextual actions for bucket or folder objects.

Arh. Sorry about all the fuzz. It's working now. I didn't even bother checking if it would work on single files. Yes, I was trying to change permissions on an entire bucket. Thanks for helping out! -
Inappropriate? You bet. While you can’t currently select buckets, you should be able to select multiple files at the same time. The CMPlugin will cycle through them one at a time, and ignore selections that don’t make sense (like folders).

Inappropriate?is the contextual menu only for s3 or for ftp ... as well?

i tested/installed it on user level as well as on system level. no success.
