Will this enable an SSHFS target for use with ANY backup software?
Up until now I've used Coda as a tool for navigating file systems over ssh, and was happy to see Expandrive. But I assumed that most backup software would write to a a mount point in volumes, but reading that chronosync fails to see the target, and experiencing failure of time machine and Crash Plan Pro to see the target (Crash Plan Pro sees it as not writable) I'm starting to wonder if ANY backup software will write to an SSHFS mounted volume.

Inappropriate?Hubbadubba-
I'm aware of the issue with Chronosync - it is failing to recognize us as a local drive, and we have it fixed in an upcoming version. With regard to Crash Plan Pro - I've never used it and will certainly take a look. Thanks for alerting us to an issue. Most programs we know of work just great with ExpanDrive! I can't guarantee all will work perfectly, but when users like yourself let us knkow that something isn't playing nice it gives the opportunity to look at the problem and make it better.

Inappropriate?OK- glad to be of service. But is there a list of backup software that is known to be compatible with Expandrive?

Inappropriate?I have the same question. I can add 2 more that don't work with v2: Synk (Decimus) fails to see the target and SmartBackup is so slow and eats so much cpu that it's useless. Anyone have any success with any brand of backup? Please share!
I’m frustrated
