The jpeg compression applied to images for the medium and large sizes is normally ok, but sometimes it's too harsh and ruins a good picture. Could you tweek the settings a tad in the right direction? Or allow user to request a slightly better representation?

I've seen this too and the results can be very different depending on the original file. When you do find poor compressions, please, post the links here (as long as they are public). It's always nice to have a few files to test with.
