I would like the possibility to embed the map from "My Places" on other sites if I wish to show them where i have been.
If it's possible I would also like the option of whether to only share my public locations or even my private locations (without letting them see the actual pictures).

It's on our long lists of stuff we want to do. We haven't looked into it that much, but I hope we can get to it soon enough. In the meanwhile you can try to embed a google map which points to your Expono KML URL.

Or even better, try to find or create a Google Gadget that uses Google Maps and fetches KML info from any KML url and "boom" you got a widget anyone can use for any KML file :-) Maybe that's what we should do? Hmm...
