Possibility to share private images to a group of unregistered people through a URL

You can "sort of" do this today :)

There are several ways to share photos and albums. You can do it via Facebook, Twitter, or via email to people you know (which are not on expono). You can send out share emails to a whole group of people all at once and they all receive the share email.

If you don't want to use this email feature, you can set a password on your album and send the URL and password to people.

You can only share Public and photos with Custom Privacy. Private photos are only accessible by you. To attach a password to your photos or album, use the same privacy dialog (there is a password tab to the right).

Yes, we are working on simplifying and improving the sharing process. In a day or two I'm going to post a topic about how we are going to change the sharing process, everyone is welcome with their ideas, thoughts and feedback :)

Thanks, the password solution fits my needs nicely.

However, I'm not quite sure how I would find this out on my own. You should flesh out a bit the documentation/tutorials.

I didn't have problems finding the password feature. It isn't as elegant as Flickr's Guest Pass feature, though.
