My facebook page seems to be stuck in a redirect loop. Won't load in Safari or Firefox

For a couple of weeks now I've been unable to access the face book site. Firstly it was telling me that Cookies were unabled on my computer, which they are. Now I'm just getting 'The page cannot be displayed'. Can someone please help??

Well, earlier today, my Facebook profile was deleted for misuse of the message feature. I am not a spammer, and I was not spamming. I was simply repling to the many messages and threads I had between friends. I was warned before my messaging fuction was taken away for a few hours. After this, I was again warned, but then my account was simply disabled. I was unaware of what the limits were. How am I supposed to obey the rules when I don't know what they are?

I have sent polite emails to all of the following addresses hoping to get a response.

Facebook disabled my account 7/29/08 after lunch without warning and for no reason. I have not violated any terms of use. There has been no response to my emails.

my account was disabled from facebook with no reason why.i have email them with no response how do i get my account back?

Now as I logged into my account for the first time 2 days ago, I got a little message in red at the top saying my account was disabled. I decided to check my email and found nothing at all. What made things a little weird is that I haven't done anything that could cause them to disable me.

I posted on maybe 10 of my friends wall in the past day and made probably about 30 wall posts in 2-3 days to catch up with some old friends. I never did get any sort of warning and I am thinking that if that was the reason I was disabled, it should have been right after I was disabled.

I sent them an email 2 days ago with no response what so ever. I have been on facebook since 2005 and have gotten a pretty full account. I have lost a lot of information, contacts and things I probably could never get back. The only thing I really do with facebook is talk to friends and use it to network with other companies (through their Pages application) and have my work experience displayed on my profile.

I am having alot of issues with links working on facebook. Everytime I try to confirm a friend, click on the links to use the trouble shooter, access any features on the site, write on walls, or reply to mail I get an error in the bottom left hand corner with a yellow exclamation point that says "error on page". The page I am trying on does not change it just stays and nothing will work. I can get to the apps, or get to anywhere on the site the error only happens when I am trying to use any of the features that I am on. I am not blocked and I do not have my facebook disabled and my grandmother is having the same issue on this computer.

I am using IE 7 with Windows XP
Java Sun~enabled and working fine as I tested it on other sites.
Only happening on Facebook no other sites.
Error only started occurring within past 24 hours was working correctly before.
Did virus scan and found nothing.
Have not changed any setting on pc since before the error occurred.

Please help!

on the arrow next to frinds it won't allow me to click & see which friends online. towards the bottom of the screen it says error on page. Also, when i type a message & click to send it comes up with the same thing as with trying to click on the icon on help menu to contact yourselves

When I attempted to log into Facebook this morning, I received the message, "Incorrect email/password combination." I use a password management program that automatically fills the login form, and hadn't changed the password, so something immediately smelled fishy. When I tried to reset the password, entering the email address associated with the account, I got this:



The domain of the email address I use for Facebook is "xemaps.com" ("spamex" backwards). I have used the Spamex disposable e-mail address service for years without problems on any other website. Whenever I create a new account somewhere I generate a new disposable e-mail address rather than giving them my actual address. The address is perfectly valid and forwards to my main address. If an address associated with somewebsite.com starts getting a bunch of spam, I know that site is selling/giving away my info or is not keeping tight control of it (assuming I only gave the address to that site, which is usually the case). I can then temporarily turn the address off, blacklist the bad senders, or delete the address completely. Basically, it gives me a bit more control over who gets into my inbox.

Does anyone know if this violates a Facebook policy? It's possible that spammers are abusing the Spamex service (which is a paid service), but if so, does it make sense to blacklist a whole domain? There are undoubtedly spammers using webmail services like hotmail and gmail as well. I'm certainly not practicing any abusive behavior and am not even a heavy Facebook user (I don't do any of the things listed in the "13 Reasons your Facebook account will be disabled" post). This lockout came with no warning, no explanation of why my email domain is considered abusive or, at the very least, a request that I change my address.
