_Photos Error_ Java Uploader on Mac; fails to upload certain photos, uploads blanks instead
When my iPhoto uploader wasn't working, I turned to the standard browser uploader. I was surprised to find that the java uploader was also experiencing serious ongoing issues that appear be persistent for weeks. This leaves mac users pretty much in the toilet when it comes to uploading photos.
The issue is that many photos fail to be recognized as in the uploader as thumbnails. They render as blank boxes. They actually take the normal time to upload, but still remain blank boxes once uploaded!
I tried moving the photos, renaming the photos. The java uploader was able to consistently recognize the photos as blanks. They are all standard jpgs shot by a canon elph or an iphone.

Description of problem: Using the java uploader (the iphoto uploader causes erros every time), when I select a folder of jpgs all shot on the same day by the same camera, a seemingly random assortment of those fotos have no thumbnails in the uploader. They take a while to upload, still, so I figured they's be ok after upload. Turns out they stay blank even after upload, but the site seems to treat them as fotos in the album. What's going on? How can this be remedied?
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_3; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Safari/525.20

Inappropriate?Wow, i had no idea that i would be solving this, this fast! Here is an image with all the boxes i checked inside my java prefrences( Applications->Utilities->Java->Java Prefrences ) that will help you solve when you get a java recycle image but no java app showing. Or if your java gives a general error etc.
AFAIK all the java related apps that weren't working started to work. I hope youre as satisfied as i am at the end of this procedure. Hope it helps
Edit: However i am not sure if the settings for untrusted sign acceptance is harmful for your mac or opens up new holes for attack. Although i am sure if you do not enter any malicious sites youre safe and hey, btw macs have way less viruses than pc's so... No need to worry that much in my opinion.
I’m relieved
