"Pop-in" Facebook chat won't work; forces me to use pop-out.
My Facebook chat won't work. I'm using the latest public release of Firefox, and have all add-ons disabled. Instead of regular chat, it forces me to use popout chat. This started when Facebook got its most recent home page update. How can I get it to work again?

Inappropriate?Facebook only enables the pop-in chat feature for specific browsers, your browser is most likely not one of those. You can change your user agent to mimic a specific browser version.
In Firefox it's quite easy:
-Open a new tab, insert in the address bar following: about:config
-Click on the button and be careful
-Filter for useragent
-Doubleclick on the value and insert something like: Firefox/3.5.3 (It was Shiretoko/3.5.3 here)
-Reload facebook and the pop-in chat should be working again
