Can a page and a group both share the same event?

I started a page for my company and hosted an event on it, but the company also has a group on facebook that I want to host the same event. Can I add an existing event to a group on facebbok? It only lets me creat a new event, but my event is already created and hosted by my page. Please help. Can a page and a group both share the same event?
