Can't log in - DNS error?

I can't log in since yesterday. It was fine at work at 5 pm but then at home at 9.30 pm it didn't work and now its 11.45 pm the next day and I can't log in with IE7 or Mozilla Firefox 3.0.15 and not even when I updated Firefox to 3.5.5.
I have a laptop that's one year old and I also tried with my old (7 years old) laptop but I get the same problem. This is what I get from Internet Explorer:

How to disable the URL Error Redirection? (this is a link, Sofia's remark)

Mozilla gives a similar text, I can't copy it because it's in swedish =)
something like: "Connection was interrupted. The server login.facebook.com doesn't respond. and etc"

I contacted facebook on a link that I thought my password has been "taken" or something and they responded directly (probably automaticly) and then I had to confirm my e-mail address and then I got an e-mail today with new password but that didnt' help.
I have cleared temporary internet files and cookies and the thing is that I only have a problem with facebook, not any other websites.
However, I can still log in to facebook on my mobile (!) and hopefully at work on monday. I mean having a good motivation on going to work on a monday is hard to see as a negative thing =)
If anyone has an idea about this please don't hesitate to comment this =)

    Inappropriate?
    My problem is resolved!
I still don't really know what this means about DNS error but I don't think it's the same as an "disabled account" as a lot of people seem to have problem with.
If you read above you see what problem I had.

Somehow some people seem to think that this website IS the facebook customer service, but it's not =) I feel with all you people who have problem to log in. I couldn't log in for 31 hours and within that time I contacted facebook through the website (on www.facebook.com before you log in there is "help" at the bottom right corner. I went there and then followed the link "if you think your account has been hacked in to" which was my first thought when I couldn't log in
    http://www.facebook.com/help.php?page...

I soon got an answer with a new password. If you only e-mail them on these various addresses that has been posted on this website I think it could take longer before you get an answer because that might not be the "right way" to go. For instance, on this webpage they wanted me to give information about stuff on my facebook account which is problably because they need to confirm that I am "I". When I got the new password it unfortunately didn't help. What I did during this time was a lot of things, like reading a lot of information on this "help page" that Facebook has and on this website. I cleared cookies and temporary internet files - that didn't help my problem but then I read on this website http://facebook.phpbbnew.com/ a suggestion about unplugging my internet and not just from the computer but from the modem/router and OMG after that it finally worked to log in for me again =)

I've read a lot on this website when I've been trying to solve my problem and although I completely understand everyones' frustration I can't help thinking that if there are so many people having problem and all this people are calling and sending e-mails (some have said 5 in the same day) then it's not so strange if it takes a long time to get support if they have to go through all these e-mails and 80% of them are problably not meaningful because they've already received an e-mail from that person.

I felt so pathetic being sad that I couldn't log in for 31 hours, I mean what a "big" problem if you think about "real" problems that people have =)

I wanted to tell you this because maybe if some of you e-mail the support a fiew (spelling?) times less than other people (or even you) can get help sooner. But hey I don't know, maybe I'm totally wrong. I can only say that the support gave me response when I didn't e-mail, but used there help page instead.

Some people like to tell people off in a very inappropriate and harsh way and just so you know I won't go back on this website and read whatever you have to say about this. (and hopefully never have to go back) Please only write things that you think could help someone.
