Disabled until Proven Innocent---I'm Frustrated, Angry and Feel Helpless
I was disabled from Facebook on June 25 and wrote for an explanation the same day. I got an automated response indicating they would get back to me. I have written 4 other letters since and still no response. My "crime" was that I was in the midst of deleting from my friends list people who had not responded to my invitation to add them. I also wrote 5 or 6 letters re-asking some people to reconsider. they were short two sentence emails and totally friendly. What I hate most, I guess, is the arrogance that Facebook has about not providing ANY explanation of their actions or giving any warning. I was in the hospital 2 weeks ago and worried a couple of friends with whom I have had daily contact. Now, I don't know what they think or how I'll ever get in touch with them again. This type of "guilty-until-proven-innocent" attitude doesn't belong ANYWHERE on the internet and the arrogance of not feeling an obligation to their users to provide any explanation indicates a very cynical mind. aj
