facebook account disabled
Hello there..I just found out yesterday that my facebook account got disabled..(@)@( wat the hell) without any notice..I didn't do nothing..i don't spam or do anything..I wrote to appeals@facebook.com and yet no response...This is really really frustrating..and disheartening.

Here's the update: Facebook purposefully obscures this process to make it harder for spammers to game their system. Unfortunately, they're creating a Kafkaesque nightmare for the thousands of innocents who get caught in their web. As a first step in demystifying this process I've posted a list of reasons your account may have been shut down:

There's a note under that post describing the standard resolution path, which today is limited to sending emails into their customer support black hole and hoping for the best. We're hoping that with your help we can get them to reconsider this cold, authoritarian process that considers users guilty until proven innocent (as Glenda Kwek of the Sydney Morning Herald put it in her poston this issue).

Inappropriate?Gee- I know little about all that, but I can't understand why they can't find you "registred" email address. That doesn't sound right & I'd wonder if it's truly Facebook wanting this new account.

Inappropriate?Rebecca said someone hacked her Facebook account & that's why I'd not turst them. Maybe it's them but I'd check out the return address this message came from & reask Facebook on a official Racebook Address.

Inappropriate?NO- NO I'm not saying it's fake because I'm not that smart. It's probably just fine. And if the return email address is Facebooks, it must be fine I'd think. Just that there are jerks out there, but I do not know why they hack a Facebook account anyway. I'm not that smart to know. Why would someone do that, unless it is a means of getting into other friends & useful info they post on profile. Bets me???

Inappropriate?My Profile, your profile, their profile seem to contain all kinds of different info. I have thought I personally may be putting out too much info on my profile. To start with- my name, then DOB, then some put address, & maybe there email address, & all kinds of other stuff they just maynot serve anyone but the theifs. I don't give a damn if I do not recieve happy brithday messages. But what little I know, the only thing else anyone would need to get a "new" credit card would be that persona Soc. Sec. & there are probably ways to do that to. I'd also assume, a truly good crook is one that learns & keeps up to date & is able to change & never once feel guilty. IF someone it hacking anyones account, it probably has nothing to do with sending a Happy Birthday.

Inappropriate?I got an email saying my account was disabled. I was surprised to see my account disabled by roadblock !
How do I know this is legit? If I click on the link will it download a trojan horse or keylogger? I have not been using FaceBook for the last several days and can't imagine why they would suspend my account.

Inappropriate?I just had another type of problem, and emailed appeals+dmwfif2@facebook.com you should email them, they have an automatic reply within 1 minute, and they say that a person will contact you soon. Just make sure your subject is "Trouble Issues"

I replied to the email from roadblock+ohze6=1a@facebookmail.com and appended "Trouble Issues" subject line. I looked at the source code of the page and wondered what ip address 10.27.149.121 was (whois says it is used for special purposes and goes the cheerful DNS name of "BLACKHOLE-1.IANA.ORG"
and the javascript function Bootloader.enableBootload seemed less than wholesome (couldn't find anything useful on google).
My curiosity might get the better of me... that button is looking pretty tempting now! ;) -

Looks like FB did it to the wrong person who wont put up with the delays, lack of support and gibberish answers from FB.
He has retained attorney Marc L. Shea from the Popelka La...w Group to Act in the Santa Clara County against Facebook
Finally it looks like sombody is not talking but acting as this will be in the courts within a week.
So there is hope out there for other disabled as whatever happens will set a precident he has requested NO GROUP as he does not want to give facebook a inside track and if they want to play silly games with him he is happy to oblige with a legal remedy if you want to know more email him at andrew@newfviewkennels.com.au
He is ok if you wish to tell other disabled pepole BUT DO NOT FORM A GROUP just post it around.
