facebook account disabled
Hello there..I just found out yesterday that my facebook account got disabled..(@)@( wat the hell) without any notice..I didn't do nothing..i don't spam or do anything..I wrote to appeals@facebook.com and yet no response...This is really really frustrating..and disheartening.

Here's the update: Facebook purposefully obscures this process to make it harder for spammers to game their system. Unfortunately, they're creating a Kafkaesque nightmare for the thousands of innocents who get caught in their web. As a first step in demystifying this process I've posted a list of reasons your account may have been shut down:

There's a note under that post describing the standard resolution path, which today is limited to sending emails into their customer support black hole and hoping for the best. We're hoping that with your help we can get them to reconsider this cold, authoritarian process that considers users guilty until proven innocent (as Glenda Kwek of the Sydney Morning Herald put it in her poston this issue).

Inappropriate?Well- true or not, though my Facebook Account was "disabled" this very day, I seem to see I'm certainly not alone. From what I have recently seen here, I do not expect them to resolve it for some time, if ever. Actualy I'm rather put out with what I'm hearing others say, and I will do what I can to say, let it be, & not to wheep nor cry. Mr Facebook, unlike what some feel, is not my life. Perhaps it was best my affair with them was short & sweet, but now over. I have felt worse over the loss of a dog, but I must say, they are a bitch.

Inappropriate?i found my account disabled when i tried to use it oct 25. i sent them an email straight away.
they just responded a half hour ago. 10 days.
i was asked to send a scan of a gov't issued id. which i just sent.
i asked for an explanation. i'm sure they will not give me one.
i have been a member for about 1 year.i have 4 friends and have sent maybe 5 messages to my brother. -
Inappropriate?Now this is probably something I think I may have heard, & it's not true, & I truly would not wish to scare anyone, but I think I recall someone saying not to answer some emails for info, what kind of info I can't recall, but I "think" they said they send if making it look like it's from Facebook, but it's not. What would Facebook want a damn Gov't ID for anyway? I don't think the jerks for FBI certifide. Please- anyone heard of these folks maskeraiding as Facebook???

Inappropriate?In other words it's may not be facebook asking for certain info but I can not recall what that person me they wanted to know & not to reply, but now, I think I recall that they said the frauds wanted you facebook account info including login & password. Think I heard thank?

Inappropriate?I tried to get on my facebook account but was not able to. It said invalid password and email, however everyone else can see my account and pictures as it was. This worries me that I have no control over my account and it's open for a free for all!!!!!! I contacted facebook no reply!!! If it can't be fixed I just want it cancelled!!!!! HELP!!!!

Inappropriate?Facebook will not delete your account if you kick the bucket, but if you are alive do not abuse their authority. My FB account was disabled over two months ago for requesting too many friends.
THANK YOU FACEBOOK! Disabling my account was the best thing you could have done for me. I now realize that the internet has so much more to offer.
