Facebook Disabled Accounts - Latest Update: (?)
Hello Mr. Muller; What is the latest update on Facebook Disabled Accounts? Have you heard directly from them regarding this issues? I see a large group of people has been disabled unjustly without an attempt from Facebook to investigate the situation. If they did, they will notice many well intentioned users have been branded unfairly. My self included. Thanks in advance for your update and feedback.

Inappropriate?Unfortunately I don’t think Satisfaction will hear much from facebook. They have considerably different philosophies regarding how to conduct themselves and the notion of client satisfaction. It is generally clear that facebook is of the opinion that they have millions of users.... one less is insignificant and a worth while precaution.
There are hundreds of people who’s accounts probably get disabled, they are given the briefest most minor hearing via...... email if any. They are then given a second chance or are removed...... without any real consideration or any real recourse.
The removal of a few thousands could satisfy millions. Now if amongst a few thousands removed 80 percent are innocent or have committed minor abuses or abuses out of shear ignorance of the system (which is a bit of a learning curve for some of us) then tough..... that’s life, it doesn’t dent facebook in any way.
Hence this is a new phenomenon of abuse, due to the shear volume which the company has to deal with, and the shear lack of incentive for them to right the wrong.
It will never correct itself unless it is legislated or unless it is coupled with an incentive.
I’m Just saying it like it is

My account too was disabled due to sending a bunch of messages out to friends and family and I wasn't given another chance!
I hear what you are saying, but all it takes is for one person to start a revolution against Facebook. If Facebook was started by one man, than one man can sure bring it down. What would happen if one man devoted all of his energy in ensuing the total failure of a company? -
I think one person bringing down a company is a novel idea.... but alot to ask for. I think groups of people would be more successful. I think help from relevant autorities would help better the system. I also think the duration of shear abuses and the months and years gone without correction or defined methodology for recourse should at least promt some response from relevant authorities. But that said I have been following this issue on satisfaction for a long long time..... and the results thus far on the side of facebook or any authority to help govern the problem is completely non existant..... ( I know its a process and it takes time but, but more than enough time has been given regarding it)..... Guys just remember next national election you will have to vote for the candidate who has a proper facebook policy.......... Just like you vote for someone who will be harsh on criminals, harsh on corperate injustices and fraud, you will have to vote for someone who will be harsh on cyber abuse by inconsiderate companies....... poloticians and other people of power who depend on popularity love facebook, its a great campagn strategy, great to get the word out there.... Might that be the reason facebook gets away with murder ??? Maybe questions should be asked ??? Maybe people should vote for good cyber governance !!! -
Inappropriate? Is Facebook bean counters? they violate their own privacy rules; they make money. That is where you need to hit them. Bad press is needed badly.
I’m ready to expose Facebook
-
I agree. My account was disabled yesterday and I still don't know why. All this is unfair. They make money on our back. -
Facebook booted me from their service days after creating a group which was intended to be a watchdog against antisemitic facebook groups, so I can relate. They would not give me any reason for booting me, and have not yet responded to my requests to be reinstated. I have noticed quite a lot of racist, antisemitic and pro terrorist groups posted on Facebook, it seems odd that Facebook would boot me shortly after creating a group to defend civil liberties and safeguard a public service. Can anyone give me advice on what I can do to get them to reinstate me? -
Inappropriate?Galen has the right idea here.

I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I had watchdog groups but Facebook censored them. The important lesson to be learned is not to support or even desire to get back on Facebook but to expose Facebook for the censors and bigots they are.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?I got disabled for Voting in Photo Contests......repeated typing of the word Vote flagged as Spam suddenly...I am not the only one....28 days later I still can't get a reply from Facebook. One of the admins from the photo contest group received a response from them offering to help and providing an address for any people affected by this. So I emailed it. I even copied the admins copy of the email he received into my email. The response I got..."we do not provide assistance for disable accounts at this email alias"........
I’m frustrated and angry

Inappropriate?I thought Facebook was priding itself on being a site which values and honors the right to free speech and the free exchange of ideas and thoughts between friends, family and the world community. I am always conscious of their terms of service and I never get confrontational or use offensive langauge in my posts.
Last night I posted a couple of remarks about my views on healthcare and many others remarked on my page.. I also posted a YouTube video about healthcare.. I awoke thiis morning to find that my Facebook account had been deleted. I had almost 2500 friends and over 2 years worth of blogs in my notes and several hundred photos on this site. I was very active and never misused the online forum. Coincidently, I got a certified email today from the White House..from the President's Senior Advisor regarding the proposed health care plan.. I find this very interesting ..especially in this current climate..so...what is Facebook up to and is Washington really watching us? These are heated times indeed and we don't need to lose our voices. Stan M. -
Inappropriate? My experience with Facebook is complete lack of communication when they disable your account without warning. Search "disabled Facebook" on twitter & you will see I am far from alone. This is damaging in more ways than just an inconvenience - especially to those (like myself) that put trust in the Facebook platform as a business networking tool.
As an independent business owner myself I respectfully request a meeting with the owner to address this issue on behalf of myself & the many loyal Facebook users that are in the same boat I am
