How can I merge groups into one official company group, whether the group owners are willing or not?
I am part of the Boston Consulting Group Global Alumni Relations Team. We are trying to create one official group for BCG employees and alumni. There are currently several outstanding groups that we would like to merge into the official group, what is the process to do this?

Inappropriate? There isn't a process for merging groups at the moment, but there should be. There are many groups on Facebook for villages/towns in the UK, that act as a discussion group for the community.
Unfortunately there are usually a few groups for the same location, splitting people across different groups. It would be much better if we could merge these groups into one.
Maybe a system where the admins of both groups agree to a merge, and both admins become admins of the new merged group?

Inappropriate?I have the same question. There are two fanpages for my webseries and it makes sense for them to be merged. They are essentially the same exact thing.
Any word from Facebook on this?
