How do I limit the number of posts displayed on my Wall's first page?

My Facebook page is too long, and it's primarily because of the wall throwing so many posts underneath each other. I want to be able to limit the amount shown on the first page of wall posts (ie. display only 5 posts, or 3 posts).

How do I do it? I can't seem to find this setting anywhere in Facebook, even though it seems to be an obvious basic choice for this (seemingly unremovable) application. Any help is greatly appreciated! :-)
