how do reinstate an *innocent* disabled account? a mom asking for help for her 14 year old kid...

My 14 year old opened up her first ever Facebook account. All was cool, no problems. She was using the account to primarily connect with family members (all friends mostly on her MySpace). She was logging into her FB acct about 1x a day no problems. Suddenly, w/o warning or anything (and from what I have read here and other sites this is not a surprise, sad to say), FB disabled her account. No explanation. No instructions. No warning. Just that default link to their stupid FAQ that has NO SUBJECT for disabled accounts. I was my kid's friend on FB so I saw all her status updates and all of them (about 10 status updates since she started) were simple family updates and some photos, nothing ever inappropriate.

We've emailed FB but anticipate really slow response, if we ever hear back from them. We sent emails to appeals@facebook.com and disabled@facebook.com. Are there other email accounts we need to consider sending a message to???

Why does this happen and what can my poor kid do to get reinstated and back in their good graces ??? Not sure why she fell of their good girl score card in the first place ...

A sad mom,

BTW, I have been reading up on this problem extensively today so YES I am aware of the 13 reasons why an account would be disabled. My daughter's profile met none of those fates or criteria.

sad I’m frustrated, sad and uber-irritated!!! :)
Inappropriate?
