how to get facebook account back

I not getting over facebook. I want to know what I bloody did. They won't tell me because I didn't do anything. How do I contact them, I get the same dam message every time and I am about to go off. They have no respect for their customers. Its not fair I did not do anything. I need to contact them. Can you put me in direct contact with one of their staff members.

I am in the same situation as you are except my violation of their Terms of Use involves spamming. They thought it will be a "final" decision to ban me just because I used the same text and copied and pasted it 3 times on Facebook Marketplace. I also am having this problem. My account was disabled earlier this week because it is tied to an email address that both my husband and I use. This just does not make any sense at all. Ironically, it only happened after I alerted them to a scam stating Facebook is running out of room.
Apparently, no good deed goes unpinished.

Well.. it says that my account is disabled.. is it deleted then? why dont they inform users whether or not facebook deleted all of their information so that people dont feel like "their facebook" is taken over by some crude administration...

Why aren't they giving penalties that are sufficient in some sense.. that are temporary... when it is obvious that a really bad person can always get on to FB no matter what! Nothing makes sense about this process..

It seems as if they are exercising their power over their members just to do so without any true care for them..

It wont take long until some better networking company takes advantage of this deficiency of FB, I believe.

Me too, my account got suspended after some friends did a prank, sending a lot of messages to some random girls. Really stupid. You just can ́t strip someone of their digital identity, it is simply not right, not even if you suspect harassment. I mean you could go to jail for a couple of months but not get a life sentence.

but i heard if you go to the logon page put your email in and then hit the i forgot my password button it goes to an automated bot that just resets your page and its unsuspended .most likely bs but has anyone tried it ?

I think Toms Video is real good, it shows the person on the opposite side the human dimension to the situation and thus helps him/her to take a decision in relation to a real heart felt plea, which someone is making. It also makes it clear that this is a real person, with a real identity who can clearly be held accountable for any wrong doing, if any. Accountability creates a world which is naturally self moderating, meaning that people who are accountable usually dont act out of line because they understand that there are consequences.

If allowed back onto the facebook network Im sure that I would steer well clear of any behaviours which could be regarded abusive. That’s the attitude which results from accountability. I also highly dought that anyone would be able to continually commit any offence if he/she is held accountable. As such it is my opinion that people who are pleading to be allowed back onto facebook with there real identities are ready to be responsible.

I think Toms Video is a way forward in reaching out to facebook, laying it out clearly and saying hey Im V sorry for anything I did out of ignorance and I understand that you have a huge amount o admin o deal with, but Im here, Im willing to work with the rules, lets work together, lets be better.

but Im not sure if I want to place a video of myself on the net (smile) :) So perhaps it is possible for facebook to create an alternate path which is more private, in which we can send a video, or chat over skyp and thus easily resolve the matter, and in which we can be humane with each other and in which we can build a good relationship based on trust.

I agree we are all willing to be held accountable for our actions and are asking sincerely that facebook allow us back on with our real identities. Tom, the solution is not to appeal - why would you want to stick with and support a company that is treating you this way?

Hey Allison, I have been emailing them for 5 days now and the only response I have received back was an automated one saying that they had rceived my enquiry and would get back to me but I have heard nothing back. It is so frustrating! I understand how you feel. I wish that I could help you but I'm in the same boat unfortunately. I have phone numbers here too that I found on google. The problem is that I am in Australia and I think that their office hours are during the middle of the night here. Also, I didn't know if they would respond positively to being contacted by phone. lol, I think that I know the one you're talking about. I knew there was a new version coming out. It's one of the applications that I am missing most about facebook along with a couple of others. Not to mention all of my photos, videos and friends that I can no longer contact. Very frustrating! I'm upset that they can't even email back aswell. That's what is so annoying. They don't actually let you know what you have done wrong! When I click on the link it says that I have misused a feature. What feature? I have no idea. I know that I haven't spammed anyone or anything like that. It's also annoying that they never even warned me before I was disabled. If I had a warning that I was doing the wrong thing, I most certainly would have made sure that I didn't do it again. It's not fair that they can just disable your account and take away everything from you without any warning. Pepole have said to just start a new account but I want my account back!

anyways my point is they will get back to you n 8 days .. the whole situition takes about 2 weeks max ..

Finally, I heard from them and I got my account back. I didn't even know! My mum called me this morning and said "you're back!" Lol, I didn't register what she was talking about at first and then I logged in straight away and I am back! Yay! My name is Pierre Berg. I am a Holocaust survivor and my memoir has just been published. My co-writer and my publisher had me sign up on facebook in May to help promote my book and so I could talk to young people about my time in Auschwitz and other camps. A few weeks ago facebook disabled my page. They accused me of having a fake account. They said I had to send in a copy of my driver's license with all vital information blacked out. With the help of my co-writer I did that, but they haven't even had the decency to inform me that they received my e-mail. I am very upset and don't know what I can do now. I had 950 friends and many, people who wanted to learn more about the Holocaust and the camps, I was writing to on a weekly basis. At the very least I would like to get back on facebook to reassure them that I'm okay.

Hey, I've been disabled from facebook just because i was sending too many friend requests. It was not my fault actually because i was only sending friend requests to the people i knew, from mutual friend's list. I ignored their two warning messages, and then today i was shocked when they disabled it. I just can't contact my friends. I am so desperate to get it back. Can anyone help me? P.S. How long did it take any of you to get your account back?

I have recently logged into facebook to learn that my account has been disabled for going over the rate limit. The last time I was on was on Monday 9/30/2008 and I did not receive any warnings from the facebook website in regards to reaching posting limits nor did I receive any warnings on going over the limit in email.

However, I did receive Facebook email updates from my friends who had commented on my facebook status and the status of other friends, but no warning from Warning@facebook.com in this email address.

I am aware that I post relevant pictures into a facebook group that was not offensive, not advertisement, and not spam. I did not post the same set of pictures to mutliple groups, and I did not receive complaints from facebook or from the group members on those pictures. Most of all, I did not post the same pictures on multiple groups with the intention to spam or annoy others.

Although I did post images, I did not receive any warnings or alerts from Facebook.com on the website or on email about the potential limits. The images (On Taiwan) I posted are related to the group (About Chinese culture) and it was not intended to be spam, but as a means to add relevant content to the newly created group. I have not been a heavy user of Facebook and this was a rare instance where I posted several pictures to help the group generate relevant content.

I have no way to know who is real and who is not, and i am the one being punished and penalized for other people having fake accounts.
As a peace worker it is important for me to accept ANYONE that requests my friendship without bias. Isn't that what Facebook is about? Connecting between people? Remember, even behind fake accounts there are real people.
As the Director of the Jerusalem International YMCA Peace Preschool i ask you to reconsider. Facebook got me in touch with peace people from all over the world, even places that might be thought as enemy countries, and that’s what my work is all about. If that fake animal account has a human behind it in Iraq or Syria, shouldn’t that be the bottom line? Striving for peace?

Well my account has been disabled just two hours ago. I'm pissing mad so upset since I was using this as my personal fan networking, friends and family account. I had no idea there was a limit to add friends but then I had many fans request I didn't want to refuse them. Further I've seen many account with over 4000 friends, I only had 1,700 so why was my account disabled? What do I do to get them to reinstate it? Just really want answers as to WHY and HOW they can permantely ban people who are doing NOTHING wrong yet the people who are spamming/abusing ect get to keep their accounts... Not right!

I am having the same problem as everyone else on here I keep writing but no on is answering me...Please some onw help...

Okay... I see that there are MANY people with Facebook issues. So I am not alone, but still doesn't change my disgust with how FB handles their site. I have been on for over 2 years. Modest amount of friends, 80. Never, NEVER have posted or said anything of any offense to anyone. Very clean profile- no profanity, nudity, nothing of any offensive nature. I went to sign on earlier in the week.. and found out my profile was pulled. No explanation- and 6 emails I sent them have been unanswered. I can only speculate- since FB refuses to address whatever happened. I think perhaps a jealous bf or husband may be in a womans site, and flagging FB saying they are offended about something. Not sure, because as I said, that is mere speculation.. what else could be considered "egregious"? Any help on this? any recourse when the company refuses to reply with any answers? I am losing business contacts now, and with that leads/ referrals for business.

I feel a little better that I'm not the only one!!! hows this logged into FB Friday all sweet changed my pass word that its!hour later tried to log back in ACCOUNT DISABLE with absolutely NO WARNING .have sent many emails not 1 reply yet SO ANGRY !!! If i don't get back on i will loss contact with people all over again just like that !! i feel SICK & DISSAPOINTED that they can do this !!!

Why facebook admins don`t help us????? I have the same problem,they blocked my account!!!! it`s not right!!! they have no reason for that!!! i want my facebook baaaack!! :( i wrote a lot of letters to them,but as i see they don`t want to answer me!!!! i`m so angry!!!

facebook and customer service... They are a discrace, a joke, has anyone even managed to make contact with them other than am automated email response?
I must have sent about 30 emails over the past 4 months with 1 automated response from them. I only want to reset my password!
I have decided that I am going to resign from my job and I am going to join the facebook customer service team because that must be one bloody good job, getting paid to do nothing. I can just picture them now sat on a beach in the caribbean sun having a laugh at our expense!

My account was disabled on Sunday the 4th. Since then I've sents at least 10 emails begging for reactivation of my account. I have not receive a single response from Facebook team :0(.

Hello, my account has been deleted by facebook admins. 2 days ago.

I have had this acct for 18 months and have 1550 contacts I have made on Facebook over Many hours using Facebook

Can someone please find me a way to get it back.If allowed back onto the facebook network Im sure that I would steer well clear of any behaviours which could be regarded abusive.

Hello Chad, I emailed the customersupport@facebook.com email and it said it's not a valid email. I'm waiting to hear back from customerservice@facebook.com. My account was disabled yesterday and I"m trying hard to get it enabled again.

Emailed all possible emails for facebook team. My account is still disabled. I'm about to give up and forget about facebook. I'm tired of all the ass kissing.

mine was disabled today and at the same time mine was being diasabled more than half my friendlist was disabled as well
mine i think was disabled cause either there's a virus or even though they say when want to report a faker or harrassment to use the report tab at the bottom of the users profile it disables u cause it happened 2seconds after i reported this crazy girl. then half my friendlist too got disabled lol which is odd. the girl is still on which she is also a faker but they refuse to disable her and disable real ppl. fb is confused. they delete real ppl and leave fakers to lurk and use other ppls photos

i emailed all the emails so hopefully i get a reply i hope! i did nothing wrong i only had 100 friends close friends and fam. didnt post any nudity or false names or info. i check my fb once or twice a day for 10mins and dont use apps that much.

OK, so here I sit AGAIN with my account disabled, and NO CLUE as to why? I have not been on my account in nearly a month, and therefore am not sure exactly what is now going on? BUT it seems to me that you have me blacklisted and randomly chose to take my account off line! It would seem that I might have some legal recourse?

I would ask that you would please again look at my account and advise me as to exactly what I 'supposedly' said or did that would cause an unused account to be disabled?

I think a major crisis is going to awaken them to their reckless and senseless disabling policies, such as someone experiencing a major crisis as a result of not being able to communicate with professional or personal contacts because of it. The whole thing has lawsuit written all over it. They are doing vast damage to their members.

Also, the customer service is outrageously bad. With all their resources, they obviously CHOOSE to be difficult and unresponsive.

And what a joke of a policy to suspend people for "unsolicited friend requests." If that were enforced, no one would have an account. Is any friend request ever "solicited." Get real.

Message to Facebook: If you read any of this, you have a VERY, VERY serious situation here. You are deactivating loyal customers and spreading a lot of bad will. Not the brand image you want to be developing, but that's what's happening. Facebook=account deactivations for no good reason followed by unresponsive and inconsiderate customer relations.

I have a problem.

My Crime... adding too many friends. I have emailed facebook several times but they have not responded to any of my emails. I am not sure what to do. Does anyone have an tips on how to deal with them in regards to getting your account reinstated.

Please reinstate my account. I am sorry for adding too many friends and I will not make this mistake again. The pictures on my facebook are very important to me and I don't want to loose them. I spent the last year is South Korea teaching English and while I was there I did many things for the first time. I am proud of those experiences and documented them all via photo and video. While out in Korea, my computer crashed and I lost the hard copy of all my photos and videos. The only copy that exists is the ones on my facebook. Keeping these memories are more important then adding friends and I will not make this mistake again. I am begging you, please don't take my account away, it is all I have from my year is Korea. This may not seem like it is a big deal, but you must understand - I do not come from money, I have not done much traveling - and this was a big deal to me. I am begging you facebook, please reinstate my account, I get the point now and understand the consequences first hand. You WILL NOT have any problems with me adding friends again. I don't care if I loose my account for a month, two months, all I want to know is if my account will eventually be reinstated. I just want to know that I will eventually have my photos and videos back.

I'd like to tell you about my experience with facebook. Facebook as you know has become more than what it originally was intended in my opinion. It has become more than a place for college buddies to say hello. It has become a place of networking, friendship and hobby seekers. I have used facebook for all these things. I network my business so I can get out an email newsletter . I have started a group and have asked friends to join. Most importantly I have reconnected with childhood friends who I never would have known how to get a hold of if it weren't for facebook. For that I'm grateful to facebook. All these things and yet facebook has the power to deny me access because it said that I violated some rule. The rule in question is regarding it's “Add a friend” feature. When I was putting my group together I was adding friends who were not already in my usual mix, but who I thought would be interested in joining. Yes, I added many, many people. Yes, I may have exceeded the limit for adding friends for the day. Yes, I admit that I got carried away. However when I got a warning I did stop. That should be stated again. When I got a warning I stopped. Does that mean that my account should be disabled? Now I can no longer communicate with my friends on facebook. I no longer have access to find out how they are doing and what they are doing which has become a big part of my life. I work from home and facebook was a way to connect on some level with people. For them to deny me that is unconscionable. I understand wanting to prevent people from scamming other people on the site if that is indeed the reason. I understand that to a point. But to stop the free flow of ideas and cut me off from my friends is really horrible. They also now claim that the email address I use on facebook isn't the one of record. This is absurd. I've never changed my email address.

Hi, I was adding people for a application and i guess i added to many people to fast. I have tried contacting facebook threw email but i havent gotten any response. I have so much stuff on facebook that i need like all my photograph photos, birthday photos, and family photos. I really need it back. Can anyone help me?

My Facebook account was deleted tonight for an unspecified reason. All I know is I was on it 2 hours before playing Friends for Sale and then logged off to watch a movie. When I came back, it gives me the message "Account Disabled". I have sent emails to disabled@facebook.com and customerservice@facebook.com and hope to get my account back.

Since I don't know why they've disabled me, I simply apologized for any violation that has occurred and promised to be more leery of the rules if they will enable my account. Hope this works!

How nice that they don't even have the decency to send you an email to say they've disabled you (let alone why). All I know is that I have never received any warnings and I have a very small friends list.

Facebook disabled my account for multi posting a MOTOCYCLE SAFETY video link only to relevant groups, and not to individuals. There were other links to photos and videos, but again related to general motorcycling and linking to youtube mostly.

Is this spamming to post Safety videos? Certainly NOT!!!
-If the group found the post/link invasive, they could easily delete my link OR admin of the group could ban me.
-What is the point of communities if one can not share?
-I have received messaged videos from friends and that is not considered spamming. You can forward 500+ videos to friends if you wish and not be considered spamming.

PERSONAL CONCLUSİON
My impression is it is not what or how much you share, but how you share. You get away with anything as long as you use a Facebook application to track you. However, if you do it selectively, the system automatically picks you as a spammer and disables you. Also if I pay for an ad it is not considered invasive but if you know how to use Facebook as a tool well you are punished.

-If you try to "DEACTİVATE" your Facebook Account and click the "deactivate" link, Facebook will make an attempt to guilt-trip you into staying by pointing out just how many of your social-network friends won't be able to keep in touch. It even displays pictures of people you're in photos with, playing on your emotions with captions such as, "X will miss you".

Why not the same treatment to warn people? İt is like worst sales people greeting you when you enter a shop to spend and ignoring you when you leave without buying.
