I can't log in with my email address to Facebook, it says its "unregistered?" then what email is my profile registered under?

Unfortunately there aren't any Facebook employees participating here yet. The particular issue you're having would probably need to be solved by their customer service reps. Here's a link to their Help page where you can they try to narrow down your issue. If you click on one of the links there then scroll down there's a link that says "Write us a message" which opens up a contact form.

I have the same problem here for almost 30 hours. When I try tologin it says "Incorrect email/password combination." And when I try to reset my password I get the message "Unregistered Email The email address you entered has not been registered." I have written about this problem to info@facebook.com, privacy@facebook.com, and login@facebook.com several timesupto now but didnot get nothing but auto-replies. I can still get notifications to the mail address I use to log in and I can even see my profile forma friend's account. What should I do? I have thought of setting up a new account with the same mail address but I fear that this may override my existing profile. And also it would be a great waste of time to inform all my friends on my list about this and to re-add them to this new account. By the way,I did not get any warning or notification from facebook. My account just seem not to function with no reason. Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Thanks for keeping us posted. I've been having the same problem as the other two posters, for a couple of days now. Have also emailed Facebook but have not received a reply apart from their auto-reply. From searching the internet I realised that there are others experiencing this problem, so I hope Facebook will be able to resolve this matter expediently!

Facebook has just emailed me to say they have reset my password, and I've just been able to log into my account. I'm immensely relieved but I hope everyone else who's been experiencing the same issue has had their problem fixed too.

I've experiencing the same problem for 1 day. I have cleaned my browser's history and cookies. After that I could not log into my account. It says wrong email/password combination. Then, I tried resetting my password but it did not worked. It says "unregistered email" but I have been using that email to login until now. My password is also correct. I don't want to loose my account and profile that it has taken a long time to create. I emailed facebook several times and I could not get any response except auto-replies. How can you help me? Or is there any other way to inform facebook about the issue?

Actually a lot of users have been having problems like this recently. We've got some other topics that may shed some light on this for you: Here and here. I'm not sure if your issue is a case of a disabled account or not but worth looking into. We are working on getting some answers and help from Facebook on these issues and are hoping to get them participating here. We'll keep everyone posted here in the Facebook Satisfaction site.

my account got hacked and i sent a complaint to info and privacy@facebook.com but ive only recieved an autoreply!

I wrote to login@facebook.com but that was because I had problems logging in - I think they have specific email addresses for different problems? I had to email them using the email account that I use for facebook - that's how they verify that it's really the account holder.

I got an autoreply as well, but after about three days facebook responded and solved the issue - great service!

Hallo! I am also having the same problem. My friends can see my account, I can still receive notifications , I remember my password but my email address seems ..unregistered. I have already mailed facebook. Please let me know if anything comes up in the meanwhile (until i get a reply-hopefully!)

I am having this problem and have yet to get any response back from facebook. I REALLY dont want to have to create a new blog page either =( what can i do?

My login email is eparso20@student.scad.edu, and on that account I deleted that email address from my contact email list and now I can't log back in with that email address! My notifications come to a different email address, and I emailed info@facebook.com and just got an automated answer! I really need this to be fixed! Help!

yes that has been happening to me ! i put on a new email adress because the one before didnt allow facebook to email me. So then i went on my new email adress account to find a confirmation letter from facebook. i clicked it but it said i needed to be logged in so then i logged in with my old email and old password and it didnt work. i tried it again with my new email and old password and it still didnt work! i checked on my friends profiles and my facebook is still up but with the old email. i tried to log onto facebook with the old email but it said that the password and email didnt match. then i went to reset password but then they said that both my new and old emails were unregistered!! help! i tried emailing facebook yesterday and i didnt get any replies yet! i dont even know what email account to email them from! HELP !!

I hadn't used facebook for a few days until ..two days ago, and it said I had the wrong password, which doesn't make sense as I never changed it. anyway, tried to reset but never got an email with a new password. tried to email info@facebook and login@facebook twice and still no response. It said "wrong email/pass" combo, but it looks like facebook still has my email and profile in their db. very frustrated. is there anyplace I can go to be sure to get a response from facebook admins?

Unfortunately, all you can do at this point is wait for a response from them. You can try emailing them again -- just be concise and polite and give them all your original account log-in information. It may take a few days to hear back from them, but hopefully you will.

Any ideas what i should do?

Same problem here. I changed my contact email and now can't log in, although my profile page still exists. Big problem is that they need me to email them from my original email address, which was deactivated (three years ago, but I've been using it up until this morning, when this all happened) and no longer exists. I appreciate that they can't respond to me for privacy purposes, but it's irritating nonetheless. Any idea how to get their attention from my current email address?

When i try and log into facebook it says incorrect password or email so i click 'forgot email' and enter my email. It then says unregistered email. How can this be ?

I often go on facebook on my mobile and i clikced 'remember me' on there so i didnt have to keep writing my email in on my phone etc.
Because of this i go to facebook.com and it doesnt ask for my password and email it just loggs me in like normal so this means my account is active just sort of hiding, My friends have also said im no longer on ther friends list.

I am having the exact same problem. I just created an account today, spent hours editing personal info, uploading and tagging photos, and making my page look good. After all this is done I get my brother to log in to his account to add me, he finds me, adds me, and as I go to log back in to my account I get "Invalid email/password"...I click forgot my password, enter my email, and it tells me the email address i entered is "not registered." I am 349% sure that I am entering in the correct email address, and the right password. This is quite annoying, help please!!!
