how can i see free movies online whenever try they want email address but replies that email address is invalid

i want easy answer

And that IS a very personal email address, because it's a personal domain.

So please provide a solution.

That is the most idiotic, dumb filter I have ever seen! So if I have my own site I can't use "email@mysite.com" Brilliant.

I thought facebook was supposed to be hip and new??? Get with the freakin times losers. This is the era of tech savvy and people having their own domains, not JUST businesses!!

And I should add, what's REALLY smart about this problem:

If I fail to sign up and go to the help for a section actually called sign up; it loads a feedback form that, get this, REQUIRES you to log in.

So if I can't sign up I have to log in to ask them for help signing up!! ??????

AND it would be more professional to explain WHY it failed rather than claiming it's a bad address when the submitter knows better. Just makes Facebook look stupid, pisses people off, and turns them off the site.

so do i, i can not sign in because facebook says my email is not valid. my blog is www.tedjo.co.cc, so i use tedjo@tedjo.co.cc as an email address. yeah, this is my domain although i am using free domain. it supposed to be not a problem. what a stupid filter. maybe you are worried about virus too much. i don't have problem like this at another network assosiation like friendster, myspace or multiply. what a suck things.

It doesn't make any sense to make such a filter, I own several domains, and I would hate to make new email addresses just to use for facebook.
All my email accounts on the different domains start with mail@, but I have never before now realized that it was because its too "unpersonal" that it was invalid. It just told me it was invalid, end of story.
I tried looking it up on their help section, and not even there did they care to explain why its invalid, I had to find this site to get the explaination and what a lame one at that.

FYI: I had to use my hotmail account, cause I at that time didn't have any clue why my domain rendered invalid, but guessed it must be because it was a personal domain or something, in lack of better info from Facebook that was the best guess I could come up with.

Today maybe 1 year after I created the account I thought of changing the email, to my most used mail@ address, just to see that same message again, and this time I didn't want to settle for "Invalid", I needed to know why.

If you are serious you are not going to change the filter, cause several persons could be compelled to use the same email address, if they were part of the same organisations, just restrict user from creating several user on the same email address, that would make much more sense.

This is the first time I've experienced such a lame email rule, I've seen plenty in my time, working as a webprogrammer and skimming through several regular expressions and other email validators, but never have I seen one like this. Its just plain stupid.

I have to agree, this is fricken stupid, I own a number of domains and I would like friends and business partners to find me by my typical email address, my "email@" is invalid and this is the address all my friends have. I was easily able to add an alias facebook@, but no one will find me using that email address. STUPID STUPID STUPID, penalize me for owning my own domain...... yet millions can have multiple @gmail @yahoo.... This is a STUPID RULE FACEBOOK - wasted a 1/2 a day trying to figure out whey my servers would not verify your email test and validate my email - WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE YOUR ERROR MESSAGE SAY WHY ! ! ! ! This needs to be changed...... I am new as of yesterday to FACEBOOK, and already ready to cancel......

I set my facebook email adress email address to facebook.spam@examplea.com

I also got the same message today - I also have a personal domain and use mail@mydomain.com as my email address. How much more personal can you get than a personal domain?
As one of the other repliers said, just open a gmail account and route it to your domain.
My biggest issue with FB is that I searched for ages on their site to find the reason for the mail address being flagged, and I only found the reason on this support forum, not on FB...

Mine said that my email is not valid anymore. But yet it lets me in. And it basically says I need to put in a new email. Now my question is...

It's now actually possible to create an account for a business. And the restriction still stands. And Facebook gives NO feedback about this on the signup page. I discovered this because one of my customers raised the issue with me.

The problem is not just with Facebook. I got an "error" message that I was posting responses to too many news stories. I ignored the warning, and immediately I could no longer post replies or comments to ANY news stories. And, none of my alternative email addresses will work either. I don't know if I will be allowed to post this comment.

Well, that didn't work, so I'll try logging in as a New User, with Hide IP on.

This is ridiculous. You allow business accounts but restrict email addresses because they are normally used by businesses?

I am trying to create a business account and cannot use "webmaster@mybusiness.com". My web developer needs to sign up to multiple online services and it is a real pain that Facebook won't allow us to use our standard username.

Also, I shouldn't have to do a Google Search to find out why my email address is not valid. Either state it on the form itself or place a link to a Facebook help document explaining the problem.

Ideally, you should just remove this bizarre restriction, however.

I too have a valid personal email address that looks like this:

It says invalid and won't give me access to my account. AHHHH!

This isn't right. I have the same problem "invalid email address" however I am using GMAIL as my account email! I have wrote Facebook and Zynga since I have a PAID account through ZYNGA! I have lost everything. The weird thing is I can access my facebook URL and see my pic, contacts, profile info, etc... but when I sign in on the SAME email my account info, and contacts are NOT there. I don't know what happend or why? I was logged in 2 hours ago and as of right now it looks like ALL my account info is gone, when I sign on my email (gmail account)! I have googled about this and thus far, someone else had the same problem 2 days ago. They had to REMAKE the account over again using the SAME email address. Whatever Facebook is doing it's preventing me from accessing my profile - my contacts - and my Zynga games....

If I have to rebuild my facebook all over again I'm going to be one very unhappy customer. Not to mention a PAYING customer of Zynga - they better fix it or reinverse me for the $100+ in monies I've paid out in Paypal, if I cannot use their service, no point in them profiting my money. I am SO FED UP with Facebook right now....

Whatever is going on -- it's more then just domain email addresses - as I don't have an account with a domain - but rather a free service - like gmail. I didn't change email addresses, I didn't change passwords, I didn't log into a suspicious site or give out my address. I don't even think my account was phished. Whatever the 'GLITCH' is -- it's on Facebook's end...

I just hope they FIX it!!!

I just now got locked out of facebook..... I own my own domain. Two years ago it was no problem to sign up with my address, use it for two years, then suddenly I got messages saying my email was invalid. So I do the confirmation thing... and it's fine.. yesterday do the confirmation thing... today I get locked out. It wont let me reset password because email is invalid, but I already proved it's me and a personal account. I can't login to change email to something else. Nothing. And of course.... there is no help, chat, contacts, information or anything else.... two years of contacts, posts, notes, and the games I've played and invested time etc. in....

WHAT THE HELL FACEBOOK?????

the solution is for everybody to stop using this facebook crap, and myspace, and friendster and xanga, and all the other poorly designed and poorly thought out programs.

i use my business URL for 15 years. the fact is yahoo wants to control your communications.

Hmm "Community Powered Support for Facebook" - so the Top of this Feed says... and it's catagorized under "Problems", yet I'm getting rubbish delivered to my email of someones opinon of Facebook - rather then a solution - to a current and ongoing problem. Take your own advice Jack, if you have nothing of merit to type other then to critcize someones choice of apps they use, or how they use it (Do us all a favor and stay off this feed.) I am suddenly unable to access Facebook, as of today. My email is ben@mydomain.com. I'm also unable to reset the password because it says the email address is invalid. Simply insane.

Im sorry to say but the support center is shit..they dont do anything. i havent been able to log in because it claims that the email i have been using for years and years (school email userID@schooldomain) says that the email/password is invalid and i cant reset my password because it says the email is invalid. I'm so absolutely frustrated. If they are the so called "#1 social network" on the web they should make it more user friendly. absolutely RIDICULOUS! Im regretting the choice of leaving myspace for this junk...off to twitter I go.

Just ran into this problem. Tried opening a business account and wham... "Please enter a valid email address."

FB just lost a lot more than a new user, and they'll soon know.... no... FEEL the consequences.

Just go now and close your facebook account and never re-open it. Facebook is damn stupid
