My account was disabled, and they will not respond to my email.
My account has been disabled, and they refuse to respond to email that I have sent to any of the 3 available email accounts. I am a touring musician, and play a lot of my shows at colleges and universities. I use facebook to communicate with the student activities people whom I book shows with, because that is the medium that most of them use. Whenever I am going to a convention to meet up with student activities people and discuss shows, I will add them as friends on facebook ahead of time. Earlier this week, I added my contact list for the national convention coming up this weekend. Many of them had already accepted the friend request when facebook disabled my account out of nowhere. In fact, I was logged in and watching a friend's video when my account suddenly stopped working. Facebook has a max of 5000 friends allowed. I have slightly over 1000.
I have not done anything wrong. Now when the people I'm meeting up with this coming weekend see my friend request or my page and see "account disabled", they're going to think that I'm some sort of shady person, and they will not want to book shows with me. Facebook has possibly just caused me to lose thousands of dollars in shows, not to mention the relationships with those people. This is called libel.

Inappropriate? As far as I know all facebook responses are computer generated, therefore there is no way the nonpaying customers can reach them. We disabled are really disabled through the deliberate way facebook is set up. Stop banging you head against a brick wall. I feel we will never get back on facebook. Some people just open a new email address and go back on that way. SAD & shame on facebook. REG COLE & JUANITA FARRELL
