Unable to share picture and link with everyone; why is it only showing on my profile page even after I share it?

My boss has a Facebook account. She can see on her profile page a picture and note she posted, and she has tried to Share this picture and note twice so everyone can see it, but it is only showing on her profile page. On her profile page, it shows for settings that she + Friends is selected, and the application settings show the Notes, Photos and Links set to everyone. What do we need to do to have the picture and note show to everyone and not just on her profile page?
