UNREGISTERED EMAIL ADRESS.

I really need my account back just like you two and many others. This is so frusrating, getting emails about friend requests and posts. I really want to respond but 1) I can log in and 2) I dont have those individuals emails!

Please if you get through and get your account back notify us through this site, it would really help the waiting process to get some positive results announced.

I completely understand your frustration. It took their help desk almost a full week for them to get back to me to fix my account. So be patient, they will respond and get you back on-line. Good luck.

It took from last friday night to tuesday afternoon so about 3 to 4 days. Those were a pretty intense couple of days though...

Facebook got back to me! I reported my problem 4 weeks ago. I recreated my page 6 days ago. Today they said they can give me access to my original page or the newer one. I chose the newer one (which is working so far). They will deactivate the original one so I should be good to go! BE patient! The email address that responded was: login@facebook.com.

i have the exact same problem - unable to log in due to supposedly unregistered email address. emailed facebook 4 days ago and first they replied straight away and asked me to verify my email address by sending a reply to their email and since then: nothing! :-(((

very frustrating... but i guess there's not much to do but be patient and wait. and maybe set up a new profil in between. it's just so frustrating since i am linked to lots of pictures and don't want to add ALL my friends all over again....

Same here. Hacker got in to my account and changed the email address. Quite likely the same with you. Problem is that if you try to retrieve your password, they will send an email to the new email address that the hacker has entered.

The hacker contacted two of my friends and asked for money. I live in Australia. My status said, "stuck in London." My friend in Australia was asked for money and when they challenged for ID information, they were immediately blocked.
Another friend in London was asked to bring money to a particular hotel. She almost went to see me there until a relative warned her that I am still in Australia. Had she gone, she would have been robbed.

Usually, when an email address is changed, it is logged on the facebook wall. But in my case, this wasn't logged. I think they hacked in unseen.
This is evil stuff. I am not sure if I want to keep going in Facebook with such risks.

Facebook have no support number so I have sent them 6 emails and I am still waiting for satisfaction more than a week later.

I have the same exact issue, Abi. It's been a whole month and no one from Facebook will respond at all. Even if I wanted to delete my account and start over at this point (which I don't - I just want to get back in!!!), I can't because no one will respond. I have no control over my profile and yet I'm still receiving notifications when someone posts something. This is awful - has anyone found a solution to this problem yet?? Please help!!

I had the same problem about 2 months ago. I only had my account for a few weeks so it was no big deal for me to create a new one with the same e-mail address. Someone from Facebook DID e-mail me about 5 or 6 weeks after I first contacted them. They said you can NOT have 2 accounts with the same e-mail address so they gave me the choice and I took my newer one. Like I said my old account was new and not much on it. I feel for those of you who have been on for a long time!

Can't believe it after a week of emailing loads of different addresses. Be nice and polite in your email, send your user name and an email notifiation you have received as I did. Whenever i try logging in a message pops up and says that this account is not resgistered.
But I have been using this email account via facebook for the last couple years.
anyone have any emails that could contact facebook? i havent got any replies from any of them yet...any idea ?

I just got mine fixed after approximately one week. I emailed the address that e-hart had above and received the one and only reply after trying all of FBs other e-mail address. The response however came from abuse+dt17u8y@facebook.com. I hope this helps.

Woohoo i'm so happy i have my account back since i lost it in november 08 thanks to whoever posted that e-mail to contact them it only took a wk to sort it out. Thanx again all i'm so happy now

I haven't been able to login for two months. I email info, disabled, and appeals all @ facbook.com multiple times every day and I still haven't gotten any response. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i sent an email to the address abuse+dt17u8y@facebook.com and to login@facebook.com and i got BACK ON within TEN MINUTES

I tried to email abuse+dwyl5ot@facebook.com, and all I got back was a response from a guy named Will saying "this kind of problem is not associated with our email alias, therefore we cannot help you". How was everyone else able to get their accounts back? Do they just reset something? I've been locked out of my account for almost two weeks now, and it was all because I removed one login email, and now my other login email won't work (is "unregistered"). I've emailed dozens of peoples' emails dozens of times, and did that unregistered email form on the help link several times as well, but everything is either not working, or giving me a "we don't know how to/ want to help you" response.

Have your true friends move to: hi5, jabber IM, ekiga IM / VOIP etc..
places that do not ban or play games with your account.
