Where are facebook events on the iPhone app?
the events feature on the iPhone facebook app seems nonexistant. am I missing something or is this app as badly designed as I think it is?

I agree with you, the iPhone app is very basic...
there is an update coming in the next few weeks, follow the guy from facebook who is creating it all http://twitter.com/joehewitt this update will include a 'Like' button, events and notes which can be created from within the app, proper tagging of photos and better chat integration as well as push notification if you have 3.0 OS
Many more features so keep looking out for it to appear in your updates soon.
