Inappropriate? If you find some maps that do not match the address of the farm, this may be due to several reasons. There is a bug affecting map marker positions in certain circumstances (when an incorrect geocode gets stuck in the cache) and the map may show Europe or some other silly location when the farm has not specified a lat/lon. We are working on this.
We rely on a third-party geocoder for translating street addresses into map locations. Sometimes this fails, especially for rural locations, for which there is no corresponding location in the database.
The zip code may be used instead, and it will be close to the farm, but we have no control over what the geocoder returns. It is the farm's responsibility to use the Location tool to put the marker precisely where they wish it to be.
We welcome any reports of incorrect map locations, but we may not be able to do anything about it other than asking the farm to set their location using lat/lon.
