beginning with feedly: how to download sources from bookmarks/delicious ??
i have just discovered feedly and am impressed...not sure how to use it yet but will stick around....!
to start, when the wizard asks to import from bookmarks/netvibes/bloglines.....i have ticked bookmarks, but it has only imported feeds from 8 sites...i recognize these sites, but where are the rest? are they meant to come from firefox? there are no bookmarked sites from there....can i download the feeds from the sites i have on delicious....these 8 sites are probably from my delicious bookmarks...not sure what to do...
cheers
am using a mac 10.5.8 and feedly 2.7.066 via firefox....

Inappropriate?Hello db. Nice to meet you. Thanks for your patience.
The latest version of feedly (available at http://update.feedly.com/release/feed... has a much better welcome process/wizard). Can you please try to install that version and see if it addresses your concerns?
Thanks,
Edwin -
hi Edwin
thanks for the quick reply....can i say again how good your product looks...like something i could actually use...have downloaded a few RSS clients but the interface i did not like...
anyway, i can see you have updated feedly compared to the one on mozilla's page.....and the link is there on your main page.....
ok...have downloaded the update...it does look different....but i think from the lack of set-up wizard, you mean i should uninstall the original download and then download the new version, is that right?
cheers again... -
Inappropriate? No need to un-install. Have you have installed the latest, please visit http://www.feedly.com/home#explore/.bookmarks and you should seem more options for things to import from your bookmark. Click on the subscribe button next to the feeds you would like to add to your feedly and start to slowly build your subscription base.
Does it make sense?

Inappropriate?have uninstalled the earlier version then installed the new one...has not made any difference....i have the old bookmarks/feeds back from the previous installation, but cannot see an option for set-up wizard to import apart from individual urls?
plus what's the news about using my delicious bookmarks?
the design has changed though and is even better...
thanks in advance...
I’m still unsure..

yes. that's given me some more results....i guess you're saying the mass migration of sites via delicious etc isn't really possible? but i have some sites to start with...thanks for the assistance ;') it's looking promising....how about an faq for users?
thanks -
no mass migration from delicious but it is a great suggestion. Will look into it: we could offer a similar .delicious URL to left users see into their delicious and subscribe to their favorite sites. will keep you posted.
