can't turn off search overlay

Example: I'm browsing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Inve... and feedly is displaying a small overlay in bottom right of screen with the following:

* Film Weekly: The Invention of Lying Guardian Unlimited • 34 min
* 'I was the smartest kid at school' Guardian Unlimited • 3 days ago

I don't want this, so I turned off 'Search Overlay' in preferences, restarted FF (v. 3.5.3), but it's still there.

Feedly is a great addon, I like the toolbar, but don't want suggestions, thanks
