Decouple Feedly from Google Reader?
Is it possible to decouple Feedly from Google Reader? I quite like the idea behind the product, but don't the fact that it invades Reader. That's sacred space for me. I like to try out Feedly with a seperate database.

Inappropriate?Hi Meryn. A couple of users found the following work around to test feedly on a new Google Reader database: create a new Google Account and import your existing OPML and make sure that you are logged in to that account when you install and run feedly for the first time.
We have been so overwhelm by the amount of feedback and suggestions we have received so far that we have not had the time to try to automate this process.
Sorry for not being able to be more helpful. -
Inappropriate?Anything new on this? I actually had to kill my feedly account, and manually can feeds with z.feedly, but z.feedly.favorites won't go away! arrgghh!
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi Next Instinct,
Feedly does not create any tags in Google Reader any more. Also there is a one click undo operation.
Here are the specific steps to address your problem:
1. Install the latest version of feedly from http://www.feedly.com
2. After the browser restarts, login to your feedly/google reader account. At that point, feedly will automatically undo all the tags previous version of feedly might have created.
3. If for some reason 2 does not completely clean up your google reader account, you can go to http://www.feedly.com/feedly#goodbye and with one click manually undo everything.
Sorry for the frustration. If for some reason, this does not work as advertise, let us know and we will be happy to help you further troubleshoot.
