Del.icio.us Add-on 2.1.018 affected by Feedly 1.2
Every so often, the del.icio.us add-on requires a database conversion again, which is odd since it was intended to be a one-time RDF to SQLite conversion, and syncs all bookmarks. This drags Firefox to a crawl, and is getting annoying enough to report on 12/10 to Yahoo.
I've been loving the experience, but when I expand a collapsed article in the #my home page on Feedly, it does trigger the del.icio.us conversion and migration alert, and the beach balls and migration status are at it again. Yahoo took that as a Feedly bug, so I'm posting it for your files.
Firefox 3.0.4
ADD-ONS:
Delicious Add-On 2.1.018
1Password 2.94
ColorZilla 1.9
DownThemAll! 1.0.4
feedly 1.2
Finetuna 1.0
Firebug 1.2.1
Greasemonkey 0.8.20080609.0
Screen grab! 0.95
TinyPaste Uploader 1.0.1
UPDATE: Now that the latest build 1.2.114 is live, the problem has not repeated. I'll keep you posted.

Inappropriate?Scott. Thank you for submitting this problem. We have quiet a few users which are using feedly and delicious so we will definitely take a look at it on Monday and give you an update the same day. I will also give you an option in the preference to temporarily disable the delicious option in feedly - to work around the problem if it is indeed caused by feedly. -Edwin

Inappropriate?Good to know, Edwin - thanks for the workaround! It seems to still be behaving like a good Feedly today

Inappropriate?Hi Scott. I did a quick code review and I think I know what they cause of the problem is: to check to see if delicious is installed, we lookup the delicious store. Which might in turn make delicious think that the DB need to be migrated. This should be a very simple fix. Will try to talk to the engineer who owns that module on Monday and try to get a patch out Monday or Tuesday. Thank you very much for the heads up: this is going to save a lot of pain to other users.

Inappropriate?Update: we were able to identify and address/work around the issue. The fix is in patch 1.2.115. You should get patched automatically next time you restart the browser.
