Error Console reporting "Failed to load XPCOM component.. nsIFeedlyBoot.idl" messages
Seeing lots of "Failed to load XPCOM component" messages in the Error Console after installing the current feedly 1.2.57 (build 2068) in the latest Firefox 3.x. The message I see is like:
Failed to load XPCOM component: C:\Documents and Settings\Joe Plummer\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\joe\extensions\feedly@devhd\components\nsIFeedlyBoot.idl
and gets generated every couple of seconds, which makes watching the console and doing evaluations tricky as feedly quickly swamps any output. Not aware of any other problems per se: just wondered how to put a stop to it.
Tried uninstalling feedly and manually clearing the extension dir before a reinstall without much success.

Inappropriate?Hi Richard. Thanks for the heads up. I have seen that problem appear a couple of time but I see the error being generated only once when the browser starts. It seems to be a warning and does not have any side effect on the application running (so it never got high enough in the priority list). Will try to look into this issue later today and see if we can clear this up.

Inappropriate?Is the Failed to load XPCOM component: C:\Documents and Settings\. . . . . \Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\s7sa08im.default\extensions\{463F6CA5-EE3C-4be1-B7E6-7FEE11953374}\components\FoxyTunesDCOP

and the

all related to my effort to use foxytunes 3.0.4.1 with firefox 3.0.3
I cannot seem to get foxytune to display its control strip at the bottom of the window.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?mike. this is a support forum for feedly. We do not know anything about foxytunes and I confirm that in the feedly case the "C:\Documents and Settings\Joe Plummer\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\joe\extensions\feedly@devhd\components\nsIFeedlyBoot.idl" is not a problem and does not have any side effect on the execution of feedly.
