External Links - Double Fail
Guys - What the heck is up with external linking? It used to be when i clicked a headline I went to the site. Now the post expands, but but I don;t know where to find it on the page! After scrolling up and down for a while i can usually track it down, but then 80% of the time I just have to click to go external again.
Please fix this, or un-fix whatever you fixed.

Inappropriate?Hi Michael.
First: sorry for the frustration
Second: could you please explain what you mean by "but but I know where to find it on the page"? I am not 100% sure I understand what you mean.
Third: here are some blind answers based on what I think you mean.
1) once an article is inlined, you can click on the article title to open the article website on a new page.
2) if you want to open the article in a new tab directly from the list, you can use the mouse middle click button or cmd+click.
3) finally, if the source published only the first paragraph of the article (and inlining provides no value), you can click on the i next to the source and select "open in website directly" - this will skip inlining and open the article directly.
Please let us know and we will try to see what else we can do to help. -
Inappropriate?First: Thanks for the quick reply, it restores my confidence in what has otherwise been a fantastic app.
Trying to clarify... When I click a headline, it disappears from the visible frame of my browser window, and I need to scroll up and down and find the expanded item.
Does that help?
I’m encouraged

Inappropriate?Hmm. It helps. The before should be that when you click on a title, it just opens up and expands (it should NOT scroll out of view). Can you please let me know what version of firefox, feedly and OS you are using and I will try to see if I can reproduce this problem. Can you please also let me know if you have other firefox extensions installed?
I will also try to see if we can create a special build which would collect from debug information from your environment. -
Inappropriate?Firefox 3.0.1
OSX 10.5.4
feedly 1.2
Other ff extensions: Diigo, LinkedIn companion, Password exporter, PicLens 1.8.0.4273, Sxipper 2.2 -
Inappropriate?Ok. That is the same configuration as everyone else in the dev team so that exclude an exotic windows or linux bug.
If you scroll down at the bottom of the page, do you see 1.2.21 for the feedly version?
Also could you please confirm if the problem occurs on everypage/view? can you for example try the river view? -
Inappropriate?"version: 1.2.21 (build 1948)"
Seems to happen on every page, but not every time. Happened on the the third click on River view, twice. In both cases, the item expanded opened below the visible frame of the browser. -
