Inappropriate?Hi. We are working on the facebook import wizard. Should be able to surface it in the import wizard in the next 2-3 weeks.

Inappropriate? That was my question to, cant wait

Inappropriate?Thanks Edwin!
Feedly rocks, keep up the good work (and don't over engineer it ;-))
I’m confident
-
Inappropriate?so will it be possible to get updates from facebook in places where facebook is not directly available? (i.e. is feedly going to proxy the information from facebook so webfilters won't know what it is?)
I’m wondering
-
Inappropriate?donkey2000: no. we do not proxy any information. The client aggregate all the content in real-time. For facebook, we are looking at 2 integration points: 1) be able to discover and connect with the subset of your facebook friends who also use feedly. 2) be able to post the articles you read and like to facebook.
If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. -
Inappropriate?hi edwin, facebook update sounds great... looking forward to it...
one suggestion here... once you are done with major social networking site connections people will ask for the rest of the social networking sites... increasing your work load .... how about having a look at www.ping.fm, i guess it connects to all the social networks... do have a look... might save your time :)

I think I actually meant to add this to another question, but thanks for the response! I was curious about this too.

Inappropriate?well..we have changed direction over the last 6 months on the social aspects of feedly: instead of creating our own social graph, we are leveraging the existing graphs provided by Google Reader, Friendfeed and Twitter.
It would be interesting to know what people would like to see in a facebook integration? Would the ability to share articles on facebook be the right first step? Anything else we should look into with regard to facebook integration? -
- Would love to be able to show select feedly feeds on my facebook page on an ongoing basis -
Lucia. This is interesting...Is there any chance you could sketch us an example of what the ideal solution could look like? -
I'd like to see my facebook feed in Feedly! Then I would finally be able to read all my updates and news in one location -
Inappropriate?Sharing on facebook more directly would definitely be fab, as would finding a better way of integrating all shared links. I currently have my google reader shared items "integrated" into my facebook profile page, but the updates are infrequent, clustered in large numbers (e.g. "David shared 20 links on google reader") without details. Perhaps this would be better examined from the facebook end, but I'd love for my less web-addicted (facebook only) friends to be able to see all the lovely things I find and share from feedly ;-)

Inappropriate?Update: patch 1.2.182 includes an option to share an article on facebook. This is just a first step to see how many people are going to use such an option. If a lot of people do, they we will look at creating a more integrated experience.
You should get that patch automatically next time you restart the browser. -
I think adding the news feed to a facebook account would be genius. Then later tack on the ability to comment or "like" the users comment. Just some thoughts....(great service by the way....keep it up) -
Just discovered feedly and love it. Plan to use it extensively. Re facebook, what I want is the ability to see the facebook home page feed of what friends are doing, as you already do with twitter. Basically what tweetdeck is doing, but in your far superior interface! -
Thanks for the feedback. We are currently working heads down on the design and implementation of feedly mobile. As soon as that is out, we will focus on better integration with Facebook. -
Inappropriate? We are thinking about this but have had a lot on our plate lately.
