Feedly Firefox extension should display a status icon with count of unread items.
Currently, there are many ways to open feedly: bookmark, speed dial etc. But you don't know if you have any reason to open it. Maybe there's nothing new? Status bar is best place to notify that there IS a reason. I would like to see that icon as an addition to the toolbar button (happy they can be removed from toolbar).

Inappropriate?Jakub: thanks for the suggestion. We will look into this in the next 2-3 weeks. We are working on a couple of other features which are going to make this more relevant.

Inappropriate?Would be great to have some notification about unread items - like exclamation sign or something like that (as well as option to choose if you want it or not).
