Feedly icon images are broken in several places.
It happens with the digest page (the icons for "mark as read", "search for topic", etc are broken), and with mini feedly too. When I go to the image URL, I get a 404 "Not found" error. These all appear broken (perhaps others too):

What I get is a 404 error with the text:
Not Found
The requested URL /production/latest/images/icon-mini-share.png was not found on this server.
This is all happening on Firefox 3.5 with latest feedly 2.0a. Other feedly icons show properly.
I'm attaching a couple of images:

Inappropriate?weaver, you seem to have an old build. Can you please re-install the latest version of feedly available on http://www.feedly.com That should solve your problem.
-
Running 2.0a.009.2754, same problem. Is there a newer build? Thanks! -
Inappropriate? Thanks for the quick reply :)
My Firefox reports I have the latest version, but I just reinstalled feedly from your site, in case the Mozilla server is out of date. What I have now is 2.0a.009 (build 2754)
I still have the same problem. Of course, I restarted the browser and made sure I reloaded the page, in case the content was cached.
Oddly enough, it's not happening on another desktop (also Firefox 3.5, but on Mac). The images show correctly there. I forgot to check the exact build version there but I wil when I get back to it.
Any ideas?
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?I have no received further feedback. Here's more information.
- where it's not working the path to the images is as I posted above.
- where it's working, the path includes the build number instead of "latest".
- in both cases, the reported build number is the same (as shown on the botton of the preferences page) is the same: 2.0a.009 build 2754.
I'm willing to conduct any tests you want. I don't think you should mark this as solved yet, by the way.
Thanks.
I’m waiting... waiting....

Inappropriate?Did could be a cookie issue. Could you please clear your cookies and restart firefox?

Inappropriate?Good idea. Can't try it until Monday as the only computers I have on weekend are the ones where it is working. I will try and report back. Thanks!
-
Inappropriate?I have the newest version. I've got broken images too.
-
Inappropriate? You were right edwk, it was a cookie problem after all. When I installed feedly I set an exception up, to allow third party cookies from feedly.com among other sites. I know I did that, because the installation wouldn't proceed without that step.
Today I was going to clear the cookies, but I found I had none from feedly.com. So I checked the exception and it wasn't there. I have added it again, restarted Firefox and all the images show correctly now.
I guess Firefox crashed the day I installed Feedly and the new cookie settings weren't saved. I don't remember it crashing, but it happens to me every now and then (mostly with sites using ietab), so that could be the reason.
To anyone with the same problem: make sure you're allowing third party cookies from feedly.com. Check that you actually have the cookies (in options, privacy, show cookies).
To feedly.com: thanks for your support. That makes a good product even better, and I updated my feedback for Feedly accordingly.
Best regards.
I’m happy

Thanks for the detailed note. This will save a lot of pain to users who might run into the same issue in the future. Thank you! -
Inappropriate?I'm still having this issue. I've got the newest feedly (assuming feedly.com has the newest). I cleared all of my feedly cookies.
Any thoughts?
I’m unconcerned

Hi Ted. We do not have 100% control over the fav icons: some websites do not publish fav icons. In the latest version on www.feedly.com, we have a nicer placeholder for fav icons. -
Inappropriate?see weaver's note regarding cookies as the solution to this problem
-
Inappropriate?I've upgraded to the latest version on the site. I have third party cookies enabled everywhere, but still missing the icons.
I also don't have the placeholder icons listed above.
It's no big deal, would be nice if they worked though.
I’m indifferent
